PCL Health Announces Board Expansion
In line with our recent growth and rebranding, PCL Health (formerly Poonyah Care) is pleased to announce today the appointment of an experienced stable of Non-Executive Directors to support the CEO and founding team.
Richard Hargreaves is a seasoned Angel investor with successful exits and is a former Chairman of British Venture Capital Association (BCVA). He began his career at 3i, before going on to found Baronsmead. He chaired the BVCA in 1989, when the rise of US mega-funds was reshaping the industry and now spends his time identifying and helping to grow the most promising early-stage startups. We are delighted that Richard has joined us, both as an investor and a Non-Executive Director (NED) to bring his wealth of business and investing experience to PCL Health. Commenting on his role, Richard said: “I’m thrilled to be joining this dynamic team which has a mission to tackle one of today’s most important healthcare problems”.
Enterprise Transformation Coach, Lokesh Kataria, will also be joining us as an investor and Non-Executive Director. Lokesh has been engaged in in building Agile Transformation strategies in a variety of organisations since 2000. He helps companies deliver their business strategy in the shortest possible lead time whilst also improving their operational capabilities. At PCL Health, Lokesh will help us improve business agility to allow us to better respond to new demands from our customers and work closely with the leadership team on training and coaching them in new ways of working.
Sanjay C. Rughani, a Senior Consultant and Founder at Sterling Professional Finance, brings to the table sound finance, equity, and cash flow management skills, crucial to a fast-growth business like PCL Health. Sanjay started in the business finance field more than 20 years ago and during this time has developed strong connections in the Social and Health Sector. An experienced entrepreneur, skilled negotiator, and business planner, he consults on aspects of business funding for SMEs and corporates, including those in the healthcare sector. With his long-established industry relationships, he will help PCL in strategic partnerships with local and national brands. He is joining the PCL Health team as an investor and Non-Executive Director.
